Andreia Almeida Bio: I´m graduated in Biochemistry at University of Aveiro in Portugal, where I accomplished both bachelor and Master. My project from Bachelor was in proteomics-“Study of post-translational modifications in cytochrome c from heart of different species (bovine, mouse and swine)” and my Master dissertation was in glycomics - “Detection of tumor-associated sialylated O-glycans by MALDI-TOF/TOF”. I have worked a few months in Clinical Proteomics in the Genetic department from National Institute Doutor Ricardo Jorge, in Lisbon, within the project "Obstructive sleep apnea and associated metabolic/cardiovascular disorders: understanding mechanisms towards early diagnosis and prognosis prediction HMSP-ICJ/0022/2011".
